Beside her was Mao Donglai, affectionately known as the "Sign Language Sister" by many disabled friends, who provided sign language accompaniment. Amidst the fragrance of osmanthus

flowers, the 7-year-old visually impaired girl extended a sincere invitation on behalf of Hangzhou to all of Asia, while Mao Donglai echoed that invitation with her sign language. In 2007, she began participating in volunteer activities, providing sign language translation services for hearing-i

mpaired individuals in need. In 2010, she founded the "Sign Language Sister" Accessibility Volunteer Service Team in Hangzhou. In 2021, with the support of the Hangzhou Disabled Persons Federation, Mao Donglai established the "Sign Language Sister" Accessibility Communication Service Center, further gathering the power of socialized sign language services to provide 24-hour remote online services

for the hearing-impaired community. Today, "Sign Language Sister" has evolved from an individual to a team name.To further promote sign language services, the Hangzhou Civilization Office, Hangzhou Disabled Persons Federation, and the "Sign Language Sister" Accessibility Communication Service Center jointly launched the "Asian Para Games Volunteer Service Sign Language Manual" this year.
